Our Year 12 Economics group were lucky enough to participate in a bizarre but hugely engaging immersive theatre experience modelled around the financial crisis of 1979.

We all took roles in various Government departments e.g. press liaisons, the Ministry of Defence and the economic team.  Through actors playing their roles in the room and on phones, we were able to recreate the hectic atmosphere of a political office in the midst of a crisis.

We were able to use our economic knowledge to avert disaster and had a lot of fun in the process.
