Modern Foreign Languages at St. Saviour’s & St. Olave’s are an inspirational, exhilarating experience. The MFL department is committed to teaching and developing linguistic and communication skills in foreign languages. We value and respect all cultures and teach foreign languages with this in mind. Our aim is to equip our students with life skills which will allow them to have open-mindedness and tolerance for other customs and traditions. Students are currently offered to learn either French or Spanish. Our curriculum is inclusive in regard to race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation and promotes the respect for all cultures. We regularly review and amend our schemes of work so we are aware what we need to develop for all students to make progress.
