Pastoral Care
The pastoral care at St Saviour’s and St Olave’s reflects our Christian ethos and permeates all aspects of the school. It is based on a system of support where everyone is valued and is of value to the school community. It is this high quality pastoral work which makes us such an inclusive and compassionate community. The relationships between staff and students are strong thus contributing to a highly cohesive and transformative learning environment.
Students are supported on a daily basis through the work of subject teachers and form tutors. Beyond this, an extensive pastoral team of Directors of Learning, Senior Staff, Pastoral Support Officers, Welfare officers, specialist in-school and out-of-school professionals and our School Chaplain provides additional care. At key transition points and in more challenging times for students, all staff help to nurture God-given talents and keep all of our girls out of harm’s way.
